The XY-6DB drilling rig is a modular, AC variable frequency electric drive, vertical shaft core drilling rig. It integrates a modular AC variable frequency electric drive unit and a data acquisition unit with the main vertical shaft core drilling rig. It uses PLC and fieldbus for electrical system configuration and an intelligent drilling room for remote control. This is a new type of deep-hole core drilling equipment that meets the requirements of 1800-meter S75 (NQ) deep-hole core exploration. It is mainly used for geological surveys, exploration of metal and non-metallic solid mineral deposits with diamond small-caliber core drilling, and can also be used for engineering borehole construction.
1. Lifting and rotation are driven by a 55kW variable frequency motor, sharing the power for both rotation and hoisting to reduce energy consumption, resulting in a compact structure; the mud pump is driven by a separate motor.
2. The hoisting and braking systems are separated, allowing for both powered lowering and free descent of the drilling tools; the operation is more convenient and diverse, such as borehole cleaning, following the bit, and drilling without frequent operations.
3. The rotary head has two interchangeable structures, enabling the rig to perform long-stroke feeding, rotation, pulling, and cylinder feeding operations.
4. The hydraulic system uses a servo motor control system, achieving a constant pressure stand-by function and load compensation. It features integrated management for easy maintenance.

It uses multiple sets of ABB torque control inverters, Inovance servo drives, SIEMENS high-performance PLC logic controllers, and PROFINET fieldbus control modes to achieve high-speed communication between systems such as inverters, intelligent drilling operation platforms, intelligent soft starters, electronic anti-collision, integrated instruments, and HMI. This optimizes control and monitoring of the entire drilling process, with capabilities for monitoring and controlling all process parameters and equipment operating parameters: drilling pressure, speed, penetration rate, pump flow, pump pressure, torque, hook load, etc.
6. The design integrates the drilling room and electrical room into one housing, providing a safe, clean, centralized, and comfortable operating environment. It offers convenient operation, real-time display of drilling data, monitoring and display of electrical system operation, fault alarms, diagnostics, and other complete functions.
